A curated collection of letters, cross-referenced records, payment vouchers, receipts, expenditure documents, and correspondence between the Julius Rosenwald Fund, the Regents of the University System of Georgia, and Fort Valley State College President Mr. Horace Mann Bond regarding the administration, recruitment of Rosenwald Fellowship recipients to the faculty, enrollment and standardized test score data, plans for the 2nd Annual Folk Music Festival, the Hubbard Day celebration, and initiatives to promote rural education in the South at Fort Valley State College. This collection also includes a copy of the Fort Valley State College student questionnaire, the program for the Founder's Day and 3rd Annual Commencement at Fort Valley State College, an address titled "Pearl Harbor to Hampton" delivered by President Horace Mann Bond at the Hampton Institute Commencement, and a document created by Fort Valley State College in collaboration with the United States Public Health Service titled "A Program on Health Education in the Rural South".
