Letters Containing Checks for Building Agents

This collection comprises letters containing checks from the Julius Rosenwald Fund ranging to the Louisiana State Department of Education for half of the salary and expenses of the Building Agent for each month. The checks were issued monthly from January 1927 to June 1930. The collection also contains some correspondence from the Louisiana State Department of Education to the Julius Rosenwald Fund for reduction in salaries because of the Great Depression.
