Restructuring Rural Education

This collection contains invoices, work orders, and correspondence to and fro Mr. Edwin E. Embree about plans for reorganizing rural education in the south, which was published in a 1935 article called "Rural Education". Response to the article were met with concerns, but it piqued the interest of many involved in the Rural Education project. Bulletins of Mr. Embree's plans were offered to be distributed to those who showed high interest, many of which include: Mr. Albert S. Cook, E. A. Duke, Mr. William G. Carr. There was also mention of an "Improvement and Beautification Day" set for March 6, 1936.
