Young School
Photo shows a woman tilling soil with a cow near the Young school in Warren, North Carolina with notes on the back that says "This Negro woman was standing in this same spot when we passed by going to the school, waiting to see the automobile pass. We broke the car in trying to get to the school. When I asked permission to take the picture she gladly consented. Then she asked if we had been over to "see our college." The school is making over this community, even though it is just a "one-teacher" school. S.L.S."
