A letter sent to Mr. George M. Reynolds from Mr. Thomas G. Hart on October 25, 1939 expressing gratitude for the Rosenwald Fund support of his doctoral studies at the University of Chicago. Mr. Hart took a leave of absence from teaching at West Georgia College to pursue a PhD in Bacteriology and Parasitology, and his dissertation was to be titled A Study of Variation in Mosquitoes With Special Reference to the Genetics of the Species Culex pipiens. He also noted that he would serve as an assistant to Dr. Clay G. Huff in his course in Parasitology.
