Candidates are grouped by fields of interest including Art including Anatomical, Education, and Fashion Design, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Creative Writing, Dancing, Economics, Education, Engineering, History, Home Economics, Journalism, Language and Literature, Library Science, Mathematics, Music including Music Composition, Music Education, Instrumental, and Singing, Philosophy, Physical Education, Political Science, Public Health, Religion, Social Work, Sociology, and Speech. Some candidates had reappointments, including Mr. George Warren Reed, Jr., Mr. Frank Harriott, Mr. Butler Alfonso Jones, Mr. George Blyden Jackson, Mr. Daniel Thomas Skinner, Mr. Ulysses Kay, Ms. Pauline E.
