A correspondence sent to members of the Fellowship Committee from Mr. William C. Haygood on April 5, 1947. It contains information on funds available to the committee for appropriation, awards made among Negro and White Southern recipients in April 1946, outstanding grants including war interrupted grants, labor scholarships, and postponed grants, and summaries of applications from 1940 through 1947 and of fields requested in 1946 and 1947. Fellows listed under war interrupted grants include Mr. Alfred B. Bonds, Jr., Mr. Frederick D. Jenkins, Mr. John William Lipscomb, Mr. John N. Lyle, Mr. Henry Allison Page, III, and Mr. LeRoy W. Watson, Jr. The fellow listed under labor scholarships is Ms. Naomi Hayden. Fellows listed under postponed grants include Mr. John H. Becker, Jr., Mr. Wilmoth A.
