A correspondence sent to members of the Fellowship Committee from Mr. William C. Haygood on April 5, 1947. It contains information on funds available to the committee for appropriation, awards made among Negro and White Southern recipients in April 1946, outstanding grants including war interrupted grants, labor scholarships, and postponed grants, and summaries of applications from 1940 through 1947 and of fields requested in 1946 and 1947. It also includes notes by the Fellowship Committee on fellowship applicants in 1947.
