A letter sent to Ms. Kenna Dalton Beall from Mr. William C. Haygood on March 24, 1947 regarding Julius Rosenwald Fellowships annual judging of Fine Arts candidate to be held on April 21, and materials should be sent to NewcombMacklin after April 10, with the the final verdict to be communicated in the first week of May. Also included is another letter sent to Ms. Selma Hortense Burke on March 25 relaying the same information as was to Ms. Beall, as well as a list of Fine Arts candidates under Painters, Sculptors, Illustrators, Fashion Design, Ceramicists, and Photographers in 1947.
