An application for Charlotte E. Moton, Instructor of Physical Education and Dance at the Hampton Institute. she wishes to travel the Carribean and sections of Mexico and South America to collect materials and ideas on dance, costume, and customs of people in these areas for use at Hampton Institute in physical education department and to develop a manual of native movements for use in the dance field. After nine months wishes to work with Miss Martha Hill of Bennington College and Miss Pauline Chellis of the Chellis School of the Dance, organizing materials.
