An application from Sadie Mas Yancey for a fellowship in Education. Ms. Yancey was a High school teacher of English and Guidance and Principal of Dunbar High School at the time of this application. Her plan of work was to obtain a Ph.D. degree in Guidance and Personnel Administration, and to prepare a booklet for use in schools where there is no organized Guidance program and for use as supplementray material in schools where the work is organized. The grant was sought from September 1948 through June 1949 . The training in Education would be done under the supervision of Dr. John E. King at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
