An application from Harry Milton Smyles for a fellowship in Music Instrumental. Mr. Smyles was a Materials Handler and Receiving clerk at at the time of this application. His plan of work was to attend the Berkshire Music Center, then to go to New York City to study Oboe privately. The grant was sought from June 1948 through June 1949 . The training in Applied Music would be done under the supervision of Mr. Gomberg at Juilliard School of Music.
