An application from Margaret Elizabeth Monroe for a fellowship in Education. Ms. Monroe was the Principal of Washburn Elementray School at the time of this application. Her plan of work was to become able to analyze and understand the causes of poor human relations and to find ways to improve relations. The grant was sought from September 1948 through June 1949 . The training in Human Relations would be done under the supervision of Dr. H.H. Giles at New York University.
