An application from Lucy Lee Clemmons Grigsby for a fellowship in Language and Literature. Ms. Grigsby was an Instructor in the Department of English, Atlanta University at the time of this application. Her plan of work was to obtain a Ph.D. degree in English with a minor in Reading. The grant was sought from September 1948 through June 1949 . The training in English and Literature would be done under the supervisions of Dr. Ricardo Inintars and Mr. Robert C. Proley at the University of Wisconsin.
