An application from Kathryn Ellen Clarke for a fellowship in Physics. Mr. Clarke was a Research assistant in Biiochemistry at Meharry Medical College at the time of this application. His plan of work was to obtain a Masters degree in Physics so as to qualify for admittance to the Institute of Nuclear Studies at Oak Ridge, Tennessee the year after. The grant was sought from September 1948 through June 1949 . The training in Physics would be done at the University of Chicago.
