Description
An application from Haywood Rivers for a fellowship in Creative Painting. Mr. Rivers was a Student of Fine Arts at the Art Students League at the time of this application. His plan of work was to travel in the Southeastern portion of the United States for 3 months, then to paint in a studio in New York City for 9 months. The grant was sought from June 1948 through June 1949 .
