An application from Marion Perkins for a fellowship in Art Sculpture. Mr. Perkins was a Junior Laborer for the Custodial Department, Chicago Post Office at the time of this application. His plan of work was to do a series of portrait heads of children from the various nationality and racial groups in Chicago. The grant was sought from March 1948 through March 1949 . The training would be done at Chicago School of Design.
