An application from Rachel Thomas Weddington for a fellowship in Education. Her plan of work was to develop an instrument for analysis of attitudes held by members within a group towards members of other groups, and to formulate a theory of attitude development with the use of insights and techniques of Social Anthropology, Field Psychology, and Psycho analytic Theory. The grant was sought from June 1947 through June 1948 . The training would be done under the supervisions of Drs. Allison Davis and Robert J. Havighurst at the University of Chicago. Also included is a Ms. Weddingtons breakdown of her budget estimate.
