Description
An application from James Allen Tower for a fellowship in Geography. Mr. Tower was an Associate professor of Geography for Birmingham Southern College at the time of this application. His plan of work was to complete the statistical analysis and mapping of Census data, to complete the library research on economic developments in the State, to make field studies in each of Alabamas 13 regions, and to write a geography of Alabama. The grant was sought from September 1947 through September 1948 .
