Description
An application from James Warren Prothro for a fellowship in Political Science. Mr. Prothro was a Graduate student and Assistant in Government department at Louisiana State University at the time of this application. His plan of work was to study the Southern political theory and write a dissertation on the use of religion by demagogues as a technique to manipulate public opinion. The grant was sought from September 1947 through September 1950 . The training in Politics would be done under the supervisions of Mr. Harwood L. Childs and Mr. Alpheus T. Mason at Princeton University.
