An application from Edith Levy for a fellowship in Photography. Ms. Levy was a Graduate student and Faculty assistant at Tulane University at the time of this application. Her plan of work was to continue and expand a photographic documentation of the activities and environment of the Negro group in New Orleans, Louisiana, which would consist a series of photographs accompanied by explanatory text. The grant was sought from June 1947 through June 1948 . The training in Art would be done under the supervision of Mr. Robert D. Field at Tulane University, Louisiana.
