An application from Lewis Martin Killian for a fellowship in Sociology. Mr. Killian was a Graduate student in Sociology at the University of Chicago at the time of this application. His plan of work was to study the adjustment of Southern White migrants to life in a Northern city, with particular reference to relations with other ethnic groups. The grant was sought from June 1947 through June 1948 . The training in Sociology would be done under the supervision of Dr. E.C. Hughes at the University of Chicago.
