An application from Alma Gladys Forrest for a fellowship in History. Ms. Forrest was a Coordinator for Peoples Art Center at the time of this application. Her plan of work was to obtain a Ph.D. degree in History at the University of Chicago and to complete a project on secession in Georgia. The grant was sought from June 1947 through June 1948 . The training in History would be done under the supervision of Dr. Avery O. Craven at the University of Chicago.
