An application from Evelyn Boyd for a fellowship in Mathematics. Her plan of work was to prepare a Doctors dissertation and obtain a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics. The grant was sought from September 1947 through June 1948 . The training would be done under the supervision of Professor Einar Hille director of graduate study in Math at Yale University. Also included is a Ms. Boyds breakdown of his budget estimate.
