An application from Walter C. Bailey for a fellowship in Sociology. Mr. Bailey was a Student former of Director of Research at Flanner House at the time of this application. His plan of work was to complete advanced training in Sociology and to study the rent differentials between Negro and White tenants. The grant was sought from June 1947 through June 1948 . The training in Sociology would be done under the supervision of Dr. William Ogburn at Chicago University.
