An application from Ann Carolyn White for a fellowship in SociologyHousing and Race Relations. Ms. White was a Graduate student in Sociology at the University of Chicago at the time of this application. His plan of work was to obtain a Ph.D. degree at the University of Chicago and to undertake a study of the social structure of a mixed housing project in Chicago. The grant was sought from September 1946 through September 1947 . The training in Illustration would be done under the supervision of Mr. Boudreau at Pratt Institute.
