An application from Randolph Stewart Smith for a fellowship. Mr. Smith was an Associate pastor and Minister to youth for a Methodist church in Vicksburg, Mississippi, at the time of this application. His plan of work was to do 1 year of graduate study, as well as a study in the field of Social Ethics and Theology. The grant was sought from September 1946 through June 1947 . The training in Theology would be done under the supervision of Dr. John Knox at the Union Theological Seminary, New York.
