An application from Cy Wilson Record for a fellowship in Race Relations. Mr. Record was a Historical Technician and a III Fighter Command for the U.S. Army at the time of this application. His plan of work was to inquire into the racial factor in industrial relations and policies in the shipbuilding industry in the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina throughout the period 19401945. The grant was sought from June 1946 through June 1947 . Also included is a document where Mr. Record listed his experiences from 1937 through 1945, research and creative work he had been involved in from 1939 through 1945, and publications he made from 1939 through 1945.
