Description
An application from Robert Edgar Hollingsworth for a fellowship in Public Administration. Mr. Hollingsworth was a Major at the U.S. Army and Director of the Administrative Division of ArmyNavy Medical Procurement Office he worked for the Medical Department of the U.S. Army and the Medical Department of the U.S. Navy at the time of this application. His plan of work was to study the problems involved in completely unifying the medical supply system of the Army and Navy, and to study the possible application of administrative techniques adopted by the Army Medical Department throughout the then recent war to the public health programs of the South. The grant was sought from September 1946 through September 1947 . The training in Public Law would be done under the supervision of Mr. Arthur Macmahon at the Political Science Faculty, Columbia University.
