Her plan of work was to inquire into the nature and range of distinguished achievement of Southernborn leaders in the Southeast, reason for their migration, their attitudes toward their region, and opinions and suggested solutions of the various problems of the Southeast . The training would be done under the supervision of Dr. Howard W. Odum at the University of North Carolina and the University of Chicago Division of Social Sciences. Also included is Ms. Cooper's breakdown of her budget estimate.
