An application from Myron O'Higgins for a fellowship in Creative Writing. Mr. O'Higgins was a Sergeant and Classification specialist for the U.S. Army at the time of this application. His plan of work was to complete 2 books of poetry, one about the consciousness of the mass Negro in a war generation and the other an experimental subjective treatment of the rebelidealist in conflict with a materialistic society. The grant was sought from June 1946 through September 1947 .
