An application from Martin Randolph Sutler for a fellowship in Medicine. Mr. Sutler was a Resident in Surgery at Freedmens Hospital at the time of this application. His plan of work was to do a specialty study in General Surgery. The grant was sought from November 1945 . The training in Surgery would be done under the supervision of Dr. Frederick A. Coller at the University of Michigan Medical School and Hospital.
