Mr. Reddick was a Curator for the New York Public Library and a Lecturer for the College of City of New York at the time of this application. His plan of work was to collect and edit the writings, letters, speeches, newspapers, articles, etc. of Frederick Douglass. The grant was sought from May 1945 through January 1946.
