An application from Richard Sylvester Hamme for a fellowship in Labor. Mr. Hamme was the Chairman of the New England Regional Council, U.T.S.E.A.C.I.O., as well as the General Chairman of the New YorkNew Haven + Hartford Adjustment Board at the time of this application. His plan of work was to study the economics of the railway industry and to improve his ability as an Administrator in labor relations. The grant was sought from 1945 through 1946 . The training in Business Administration would be done under the supervision of Dr. Sumner H. Slichter in the Trade Union Fellowship Project at Harvard University.
