An application from Woodrow Wilson Crumbo for a fellowship in American Indian ArtPainting. Mr. Crumbo worked at the Tooling Division of Douglas Aircraft at the time of this application. His plan of work was to paint pictures that depict the art, music, religion, ceremonials, etc. of American Indian authentically as possible, and to have them exhibited nationally and internationally. The grant was sought from September 1945.
