A letter of correspondence from Virginia M. Alexander to Dr. M.O. Bousfield written on June 22, 1936. Ms. Alexander went to Harrisburg to visit Dr. Edith MacBride Dexter (secretary of Health), and she found it unsatisfactory. Dr. Dexter was not friendly nor interested in Ms. Alexanders proposal whatsoever. Ms. Alexander eventually decided to pursue her plans for graduate study.
