A letter of correspondence from M.O. Bousfield to Dr. M.L. Jackson written on August 30, 1935. Mr. Bousfield acknowledged Dr. Jacksons letter of July 25 to Dr. Oppenheimer (Dean of the School of Medicine at Emory University) where he asked for a scholarship in Pediatrics. Mr. Bousfield mentioned that the funds for that year were exceedingly limited and would be allocated to those associated with the better Negro hospitals.
