A letter of correspondence from Edward L. Howles to Dr. George M. Reynolds written on April 18, 1940. Mr. Howes detailed Florida Howards professional experience as a volunteer assistant at Freedmens Hospital, Howard University for 3 months, and Dr. Howard had just completed his residency at Provident Hospital, Baltimore. Mr. Howes also mentioned that Dr. Howard had not made an official application with Rosenwald Fund despite his letters to Dr. Bowsfield, but he still suggested Dr. Reynolds look into Dr. Howards case.
