A letter of correspondence from Floarda Hughes Howard to Dr. Bousfield written on January 18, 1940. Mr. Howard acknowledged Dr. Bousfields letter of January 16. Mr. Howard clarified that he didnt apply for a residency at Freedmans Hospital, and he had arranged with the Surgical faculty of Howard to take him as a fellow in Surgery. Mr. Howard hoped that Dr. Bousfield would consider his application for July.
