Description
-
A letter of correspondence from Bessie L. Moses to Mr. George M. Reynolds written on January 11, 1940. Dr. Moses recommended Floarda Howard for a scholarship from Rosenwald Fund. He mentioned that Dr. Howard needed 2 more years of Surgical training to qualify for the American Board Surgery, and he regarded Dr. Howard as one of excellent training, very intelligent and ambitious, and even a credit to the Negro people. Dr. Moses also recalled that Dr. Howards wife was a physician that had some training under his direction.
