A letter of correspondence from Floarda Hughes Howard to Mr. Edwin R. Embree written on August 1, 1939. Mr. Howard mentioned he wrote to Dr. John W. Lawlah (medical director of Provident Hospital, Chicago) at the behest of Dr. Bousfields suggestion. Mr. Howard also mentioned that he would not be able to attend that N.M.A. convention that Dr. Bousfield would attend in New York.
