A letter of correspondence to Dr. M.O. Bousfield written on February 24, 1937. Mr. Paty was requested of for an application blank, which Dr. Bousfield also knew of. Dr. Bousfield was sent a brief outline of a project that needed aid from the Rosenwald Fund. Dr. Ben Karpman recognized the demand for a fully equipped Negro psychiatrist in Washington.
