Fellowship Application of Ruth Marguerite Easterling
-
Description
-
A letter of correspondence from M.O. Bousfield to Dr. Ruth M. Easterling written on September 24, 1936. Mr. Bousfield acknowledged Dr. Easterlings letter of September 15, as well as the one she sent to Mr. Embree on September 12. Mr. Bousfield relayed that he wrote to Dr. West and concluded that Dr. Easterlings project was unconvincing for a scholarship. Mr. Bousfield admitted that her project was outside the limits of the Julius Rosenwald Fund, and he suggested that Dr. Easterling had at least 3 to 5 years subsidy for her ambitious research.
