Description
-
A letter of correspondence from M.O. Bousfield to Dr. Everett W. Campbell written on September 27, 1939. Mr. Bousfield understood from Dr. Lawlah that Dr. Campbell could possibly leave the CCC service to return to Chicago. Mr. Bousfield relayed that the State of Alabama and the Macon County Health Department, along with the Julius Rosenwald Fun, would develop a midwifery program, so he asked Dr. Campbell to consider it and reply by October 21. Mr. Bousfield also mentioned Dr. Frank E. Steele would leave the following month.
