Mr. Branch was a Physician and Surgeon at the time, so he sought further training as a Cardiologist, and he chose Clinical and Pathological Studies as his course of study. The training would be under the supervision of Dr. Ernst P. Boas at Columbia University Post Graduate School. This application was submitted on May 1, 1935. Also included is a handwritten essay by Mr. Branch.
