Ms. Gregory was a Public Health Nurse at the time, so she sought further training as a Supervisor of Public Health Nursing, and she chose Public Health as her course of study minor in Physical Education. The training would be at Columbia University. This application was submitted on July 7, 1933. Also included is a handwritten essay by Ms. Gregory appreciating the role of a nurse especially in her day and age.
