A letter of correspondence from Valla V. Dudley to Ms. Hobbs handwritten on August 22, 1936. Ms. Dudley acknowledged Ms. Hobbss letter of August 19. Ms. Dudley received a letter from her superintendent on August 12 that inquired of her intention to return to either her position or her studies. Ms. Dudley had been cognizant of all circumstances with the Scholarship Committee, but she was anxious of the verdict on her application, so she could relay a decision to her superintendent.
