Description
An application from Latis Melba Caver for a fellowship in Nursing Education. Ms. Carver was a Public Health Nurse at the time, so she sought further training as an Educational Director, and she chose Administration as her course of study. The training would be under the supervision of the Educational Advisor of Nursing Education Teachers College at Columbia University Teachers College. This application was submitted on November 21, 1936. Also included is Ms. Cavers medical record, as well as a few pictures of her and a handwritten essay which highlighted how this fellowship could enable her to complete her higher education in Nursing.
