An application from Arnold Wood Wright in 1945, requesting a one year grant for seventy two academic weeks of graduate study and research in sociology and cooperative economics with special concentration on campus cooperatives and the status of cooperatives in Kentucky. Applicant reapplied for another 1 year grant in 1946 to pursue graduate studies starting in September 1946, and write a Ph.D. dissertation on Cooperatives and the Status of Cooperatives among Negroes. For both applications, wishes to work at the University of Wisconsin under the supervision of Dr. T. C. McCormick. These applications were submitted in 1945 and 1946, and the chosen field is Sociology.
