The documents contain an application for a 1938 fellowship for Stanton L. Wormley. The applicant was awarded a 1,700 dollars one year grant in 1938. The plan of work was to finish a dissertation, Heines Impact on Victorian England and complete work for the Ph.D degree, then go on to research and creative work in the field of comparative literature with special emphasis upon folk lore and culture.
